Start Here
First of all, welcome. We’re really glad you found us.
Whether you came from YouTube, Google, one of our articles, or someone shared this website with you, there’s a good chance you’re here because you’re looking for something more.
Maybe you’re trying to get out of debt. Maybe you’re wondering if early retirement is possible. Maybe you simply want to travel more without spending a fortune. Or maybe you’re just looking for practical ideas from people who’ve actually done it.
Whatever brought you here, we hope you’ll find something useful.
A few years ago, our life looked very different. We were working full-time, carrying more than $60,000 in consumer debt, and wondering if we’d ever have enough time to enjoy the life we wanted. Like a lot of people, we thought the answer was simply earning more money.
It wasn’t.
As we started learning more about Financial Independence, we realized the biggest change wasn’t our income — it was the way we made decisions. We became intentional with our spending, paid off our debt, invested consistently, and eventually reached the point where work became optional. In April 2024, we retired in our mid 40s, sold almost everything we owned, and began traveling the world full-time. First stop? Repositioning cruise to Spain, where we walked the Camino de Santiago (French Camino).
Since then, we’ve shared every step of that journey. The good decisions, the mistakes, the lessons, and the strategies that continue to shape the way we live today.
That’s what you’ll find throughout this website.
We’re not here to convince you to retire early or travel full-time. Those were our choices, and your goals might look completely different. Our job is simply to share what’s worked for us so you can decide what might work for you.
So, where should you start?
📈 If Your Goal Is Financial Independence
Everything we do starts here.
Financial Independence isn’t just about retiring early. It’s about creating options. Whether you want to leave your job at 45, work part-time at 60, or simply stop worrying about money, the principles are the same.
In this section you’ll find articles about budgeting, investing, retirement planning, and the strategies that helped us completely change our financial future.

✈️ If You Want to Travel More Without Spending More
One of the biggest surprises after retiring wasn’t how much we enjoyed traveling.
It was how much there still was to learn.
Over the past few years we’ve tested hotel loyalty programs, airline rewards, travel credit cards, shopping portals, and dozens of other strategies that help reduce the cost of travel. Some have been fantastic. Others haven’t been worth the effort.
Rather than repeating what everyone else says, we share what we’ve actually experienced, what we’d do again, and what we’d skip.
If you enjoy traveling — or hope to someday — this is one of our favorite sections of the website.
💳 If You’re Looking for the Right Credit Card
This is probably one of the questions we receive most often.
“What’s the best credit card?”
The truth is, there isn’t one.
The best card depends on where you live, how you spend your money, whether you travel, and what you’re trying to accomplish.
Instead of publishing a giant list of cards, we explain why we use the ones we do and how they fit into our overall strategy.
Our goal isn’t to help you collect more cards.
It’s to help you choose the right one.
📥 If You Like Free Resources
Over the years we’ve created spreadsheets, planners, checklists, and guides for our own journey. Eventually we realized they could help other people too.
Whether you’re planning your retirement, organizing your finances, or learning about travel rewards, we’ve made many of those resources available for free.
If they save you a few hours—or help you avoid a mistake we made—then they’ve done their job.

Before You Go…
If there’s one thing we’d like you to take away from this website, it’s that there isn’t one “right” way to build a life you love.
Some people want to retire early. Some want to keep working but stress less about money. Some dream of traveling the world. Others simply want a little more freedom to spend time with the people they love.
Those goals are all different, but they start in the same place: making better decisions today than you did yesterday.
That’s why we created this website.
Take a look around, read whatever catches your interest, download a few resources, and if you have a question, don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’re glad you’re here, and we hope you’ll stick around for the journey.
