Hi 🙂 We are Gean and Kristine, a passionate Canadian couple who embarked on an incredible journey towards early retirement and full-time travel.

Our story began in 2018 when we met through online dating, and since then, we have been inseparable, dreaming of a life filled with adventure and exploration.

Our story

In early 2019, we stumbled upon the Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) movement, which transformed our outlook on life. At that time, we were burdened with nearly CAD $60,000 in consumer debt and felt trapped in our conventional jobs. Determined to change our lives, we committed to a strict budget and worked tirelessly to pay off our debt. By the end of that year, we were debt-free, allowing us to redirect our finances towards investments. In April 2024, we sold our home in Toronto, and started traveling full-time.
